Marriage Quotes
(18+ quotes)

Marriage quotes refer to the commitment between two people in love. Vows can vary, but the intention of couples getting married is to live together, happily ever after.

It is a legal and moral commitment. Do things always work out that way? Of course not, but that does not mean most of us have given up on the idea. Statistics show married people live longer, healthier lives. Are they happier? It depends on the couple. According to Nietzsche, “It is not lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.” Maybe we should change the traditional vows to read: Love, cherish and be best friends.
