I hope these quotes challenge you to think about what you know and what you don’t know. There is a Zen saying that the wisest man knows that he does not know. There is magic in that. All we think we know is filtered through our personal experiences and environment. What we ‘know’ as Americans has very little to do with what citizens of other countries and continents ‘know’. When a man like Socrates says, “One thing only I know, and this it that I know nothing,” we all better be pretty cautious about thinking we know anything.
We know knowledge is the sum total of what we have learned from books and teachers and other outside sources. If those who think they know much, know little, I am probably clueless. For questionably knowledgeable self-help coaching contact: Marta@JoyofQuotes.com
